Mission
The Pallet Insights (PI) squad empowers Verity clients to optimize pallet management in warehouses. By integrating data from Verity's autonomous drones with clients' systems, we deliver actionable insights to resolve challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
As a Frontend Engineer, you will shape the user-facing applications of our self-flying inventory drone system, enabling automated, zero-error inventory management. Collaborating with product managers and designers, you'll drive the development of new front-end features while improving architecture, testing strategies, and workflows to set new standards for our growing product.
Your role
- Collaborate with developers, product, design, and many others stakeholders to implement new functionalities for our product that will delight our users.
- Improve, maintain, and extend robust frontend components for our user interface.
- Extend, maintain, and improve our test suites and cooperate with the QA team to iterate our testing strategy.
- Identify and address technical debt as part of the day to day feature development.
- Lead initiatives to establish a culture of technical excellence, which helps the team deliver high quality solution.
- Challenge the status quo, identify and raise awareness about bottlenecks, and provide feedback to your team and organisation on how to continuously improve.
Your experience
- You have a degree (FH, BSc, MSc) in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience working on frontend applications.
- You have deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) and technologies (e.g. Typescript, HTML, and CSS).
- You set high standards for code quality, and care about delivering code that is easy to read, to maintain, and to extend.
- You understand the value of testing, you know how to structure tests, and implement them at the right level of abstraction.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
