Who we are looking for
Were looking for a senior engineer to own key backend systems, data infrastructure, and internal platform tooling. This is a hands-on backend engineering role with a strong focus on technical leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable systems and supporting a small, high-performing team.

Your work
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions across the team.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services (internal and external), primarily in Python.
- Contribute to data processing pipelines and ML platform.
- Contribute to our CI/CD workflows, observability and deployment strategies, while contributing to Terraform and EKS operations.
- Lead by example: perform design/code reviews and mentor engineers.
- Define and uphold standards for testing, documentation, and code quality.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product, and sales to align tech with business needs.
Basic requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with a strong Python background.
- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g. Lambda, EKS, Step Functions), Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Background in data engineering and processing (Spark, Kafka, or equivalent).
- Experience building or integrating with ML platforms.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices, testing, and observability.
- Comfortable working with a hybrid and distributed remote team.
- Prior experience in a startup environment.
- English professional working proficiency.
Bonus points
- Experience in the aviation/travel industry.
- Production experience with Golang.
- Familiarity with AWS Glue, Athena, or data lake architectures.
