For our Engineering team in Füllinsdorf, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive Junior Software Engineer (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Ensure that product development meets the highest standards in terms of technology and quality with a particular focus on maintainability
- Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to final delivery:
- Translate customer requirements into functional features
- Develop frontend single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular
- Implement backend components, such as business logic, data persistence, etc.
- Design and develop services and APIs to provide both existing and new functionalities for our web applications
- Build and help manage high-performance databases
- Conduct unit, integration, and manual testing to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency
- Perform bug fixing, debugging, and software upgrades
- Implement security and data protection settings
- Write user manuals and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Passion for delivering end-to-end products, from ideation and planning to implementation
- Experience in developing with Microsoft .NET, C#, and Angular SPAs
- Familiarity with database systems such as MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and automated testing is a plus
- Experience or strong interest in working in cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and a precise working style
- Fluent in English and preferably in German (good understanding appreciated)
